Earth Day is celebrated around the world every
April 22nd. Why not have your students
showcase their knowledge about the 3 R’s: reduce, reuse and recycle? Have
them do this research project and make lap books. Then put them on display for the whole school to see! It's a perfect activity for students in Grades 3-6.

There is enough information and facts for students to
complete the activity using only the printable pages or they can do more extensive research. Once the lap
books are completed, students can share the information with their peers or
with younger students such as reading buddies.
Best of all, this Earth Day project involves no teacher prep. I call
